The EPA has determined that certain "minimum risk pesticides" pose little to no risk to human health or the environment. Therefore, the EPA has exempted them from the requirement that they be registered under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA)
These products do not require federal EPA registration, special application training or certification, mandatory notification prior to use and no concerns about improper application reports.
